- We opened Jalapeno's Mexican Restaurant in April 1993 on Cedar Street in Sandpoint, Idaho. Flying from the seat of our pants, we sold our Volvo and maxed out our credit cards and convinced the hometown bank that we could DO IT! We did, thanks to great employees and loyal customers and hard work 24/7. God has truly blessed us!
